Nike revived a holiday classic in December 2020 with the Kobe 6 Protro "Grinch," blending iconic style with modern performance. First seen in 2010 during a Christmas Day game between Kobe Bryant's Lakers and LeBron's Heat, the original design returns with its signature Green Apple and Volt snake-textured upper, black Swoosh, red Kobe logo, and translucent green outsolepaying homage to Kobe's "Black Mamba" persona.As a Protro model, it's upgraded with a more responsive Zoom Air unit, improved traction, and a sleeker, lower-cut silhouette for better on-court performance and it also came with bright crimson flat laces for an extra pop.
